Privacy Policy

Updated September 16, 2025

DDS Refinance (“DDS Refinance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website (the “Website”) and use our pre-qualification and referral services (the “Services”).

This policy applies solely to information collected through the Website and Services. It does not cover information collected offline or via channels not controlled by DDS Refinance.

1) Acceptance of this Privacy Policy

By using the Website or Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services. We may update this Policy from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

2) How We Collect and Use Information

Information You Provide

We collect information you submit when you inquire, complete a pre-qualification form, request a referral, book a call, or communicate with us. Examples include:

Personal information

  • Name, business role/title
  • Email address, phone number
  • Mailing address/city/state/ZIP

Professional & financial context you choose to share (optional, to assess refinancing fit)
  • Practice or business name, entity type
  • Basic revenue ranges or debt details you provide (e.g., current lender, balance, monthly payment, interest rate)
  • Goals or preferences for refinancing (term length, rate goals, timing)

We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. Any lender you choose to engage may request additional documents or sensitive identifiers (e.g., SSN/EIN, tax returns) directly from you. DDS Refinance does not require or store SSNs for our pre-qualification/referral workflow.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, we may automatically collect certain information to operate and improve our Services:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, timestamps, pages viewed, and clicks (for analytics, fraud prevention, and site administration).
  • Cookies: Small files stored on your device to keep preferences, improve site functionality, and understand usage trends. If you disable cookies, parts of the Website may not function properly. We do not link cookies to personal identifiers.
  • Web beacons/pixels: Small transparent images that help measure engagement with pages or emails (e.g., whether an email was opened). We do not link beacons to personal identifiers.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve the Website and Services;
  • Evaluate basic eligibility for pre-qualification and potential lender fit;
  • Facilitate referrals to third-party lenders at your request;
  • Communicate with you (e.g., service updates, scheduling, requested information);
  • Send optional marketing communications (you can opt out at any time);
  • Protect against fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited situations:

  • With lenders at your direction: If you ask us to introduce or refer you to lenders, we may share the relevant information you provided to us (e.g., practice basics, loan objectives, contact info) to initiate the conversation. Each lender’s use of your information is governed by that lender’s own privacy policy and disclosures.
  • With service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the Website, communications, analytics, or security (e.g., web hosting, email/SMS tools). They may access information only as needed to perform services for us and must protect it.
  • For legal, safety, and rights protection: To comply with law or legal process; to respond to lawful requests; to protect our rights, users, or the public; or to enforce our agreements.
  • Business transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not disclose SSNs because we do not collect them for our workflow.

4) Your Choices; Access, Updates & Retention

  • Access/Update: You may request to review or correct your information by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Marketing Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the link in the email or contacting us (see Section 12). Service/transactional messages may still be sent.
  • Retention: We retain information as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you request deletion, we will honor it unless we need to retain certain data for legitimate business or legal reasons (e.g., fraud prevention, recordkeeping, legal holds).

5) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information under our control. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6) Choice / Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting [email protected]. If you provided a mobile number, you may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. (Message/data rates may apply.)

7) Information from Third Parties

We may receive basic business or marketing data from third parties (e.g., lead sources) and combine it with information you provide to refine outreach or avoid duplicate contacts. We use such data in accordance with this Policy.

  • DDS Refinance does not use bank-account aggregation tools (e.g., Plaid) as part of our Services. If a lender later asks you to connect bank data, that occurs directly with the lender under their terms—not ours.

8) Children’s Privacy

The Website and Services are intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

9) “Do Not Track” Signals

Because there is no uniform industry standard for DNT signals, the Website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track.”

10) Links to Third-Party Websites

Our Website may link to third-party sites (including lenders). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review those sites’ policies before providing information.

11) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated via email or on-site notice where appropriate.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the rights to:

  • Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
  • Delete personal information (subject to exceptions, e.g., for legal compliance and security);
  • Opt out of “selling” or “sharing” personal information (we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising);
  • Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right under CPRA).

To exercise your California rights or to authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf, contact us at [email protected] or (714) 414-8414. We will verify your request consistent with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
