DDS Refinance was born from a unique blend of two careers and one shared mission. With complementary backgrounds in finance and dental practice consulting, we saw firsthand the challenges dentists face when navigating complex and costly debt.
Together, we realized there was a gap in the market: dentists needed smarter, simpler ways to refinance their debt. By combining Chris Sr.’s deep knowledge of the dental industry with Christopher’s financial expertise, we created DDS Refinance—a business dedicated to helping dentists lower their rates, save money, and focus on what matters most: their patients.
After moving to Ohio in 2001, Chris Vandiford began providing professional guidance to dentists in the Midwest Dental Market. Chris has been involved in over 600 dental transitions, and has earned numerous work, leadership, and community awards. Chris is well known in the Ohio and Midwest market with dentists, banks, lawyers and CPA’s.
Chris enjoys motivational speaking and speaks to large groups of dental professionals and other local organizations annually. You will typically find Chris presenting to Dental Schools in the winter and regional dental conventions in the summer and fall. When he is not in front of a crowd, Chris enjoys hiking, fitness, and traveling.
While completing his master’s degree in economics, Christopher worked as a freelance writer for The Economist, producing investment reports on China’s economic growth. He later moved to San Francisco, joining Silicon Valley Bank’s venture debt division, where he supported early-stage tech startups.
Christopher then advanced to BNP Paribas, working in investment banking on acquisitions and multibillion-dollar financings. Following his career in banking, he founded an independent consulting firm to help small businesses scale their operations. Outside of work, Christopher enjoys swimming, running, and spending time with his son.
